Portugal, the edge of the world
Portugal hasn't registered on the climbing radar until recently. It's a bit off the beaten path as it's the most western European country, bordering Spain and the Atlantic Ocean, but it does have large mountain ranges and outstanding walls. Recently, the excitement of its climbers has awoken, and climbing areas have begun to see development all over the country. The cliffs of the Algarve region, in the far south, are just one example of what's being developed.
